Our School

East Olympia is a community of learners where each person is treated with respect. All of our classrooms provide learning environments where children can grow and develop into responsible, successful, participating citizens. We emphasize reading, writing and math improvement at EOE. Staff review the previous year’s work including test scores, demographic information, best practices, and current research. We celebrate what went well and focus on areas of concern. When we return in the fall, we set goals and develop plans to achieve these goals. We prioritize the use of site resources in order to align the curriculum and complete our School Improvement Plan. We coordinate our staff development with District staff development to effectively use precious resources.
